I am never sure what the paintings are about until a long time after they are painted. They are usually small and intimate, made for one viewer at a time. They are funny to me at first and then years later they become sad to me. Dark humor perhaps. Usually a stranger has a much better idea about what they mean. tell ya in 10 years what this ones about.
