ARTIST
Kike Besada was born in the industrial town of Vigo, Galicia (Spain). In 2010 he moved from Madrid to New York City where he spent 10 years seeking new experiences and inspiration. Kike Besada's work seeks the beauty in the commonness of the random and street-found paper scraps, and unintended graphic compositions. He reinterprets mundane & day to day founded documents & different materials through the lens of abstract aesthetics, in order to transcend the documents' original purpose and function.
